Book club
One book, a few weeks, and a discussion night that always runs long.
Join our brand new book club, where we all read a book and discuss it together.

How it goes
The book club is the newest thing in the guild and it started because a few of us kept recommending the same novels to each other. Everyone reads the same book over roughly a month, then we meet in voice to talk about it, spoil everything and rate it without mercy.
We pick across fantasy, science fiction and the occasional odd recommendation that has nothing to do with either. The reading pace is deliberately gentle so a busy month does not knock you out, and finishing the book is not a requirement to join the discussion.
When we play
Monthly
One book per month, discussion night announced in the Discord calendar.
Good to know
- Any format counts: paper, ebook or audiobook.
- Suggestions are welcome in the book channel at any time.
- Discussion is in voice, but a written thread follows for anyone who cannot make it.

What a session actually looks like
Chosen together
Every member can nominate a title and we vote on the next pick, so the shelf never becomes one person’s taste.
Spoiler-safe channel
Halfway thoughts go in a spoiler-free channel, the full discussion happens at the meeting.
No reading homework
If life got in the way, come anyway. Half the fun is hearing what everyone else thought.
“I read more books in six months with this club than in the three years before it.”
